I lost my parents very young so it made keeping a house pretty difficult while touring non stop.

I make them every day of my life. There’s a big spectrum here but the more difficult calls you make on a daily basis, the easier they become.

Be nice to people on the way up. You WILL see them on the way down.

WHO OR WHAT SHAPED YOUR APPROACH?

Going to gigs in the 90’s. Not being able to see further than your nose in a crowded, hot boxed venue, waiting for the headliner as people stirred with excitement. There’s nothing cooler in the world.
